Road tripping through FL in my camper van I stopped at a beach off A1A which had some abandoned houses. I learned that the houses were badly damaged during hurricane Matthew, which wiped out the entire road of Old A1A, and left 70 ft of sand behind the houses. Some of the citizens whose houses were not completely destroyed, built a sand road leading up to where their driveways use to be.
Hopefully the city will replace their road soon.

All the animals at Krochels Wildlife Center are rescues.
They are taken in either as abanboned orphans
or because of injury. In the state of Alaska, it is illegal to release
mammals back into the wild after rehilitation.
All the animals at Kroschels Wildlife Center are
therefore permanent residents.

After my first two months in Europe (one in Cyprus and one in Greece), I went to Ukraine with my friend Roman to visit his childhood home. When Romans parents came to the states to visit him years ago, they ended up staying and never returned to back to their Ukrainian home. The house has sat abandoned ever since.

We spent several days playing house in his old abandoned home, as well as visiting his hometown, friends and family.

This is the Tour of my camper van!

When I was 20, I went on a spontaneous month long road trip. Since then, I've been dreaming of life on the road; exploring the coast, roaming free, seeing what I might become if I threw my inhibitions to the wind. It took a quite a while of saving, searching and then renovating the van…
But this past year I quit my job and moved in full time.
This is my tiny house /life on the road/ camper van conversion.

Road tripping through Florida in my Camper van, I stopped in St. Augustine to see the sights. St. Augustine Beach quickly became a new favorite spot, with its cute shops, restaurants and the Wednesday fishing pier farmers market.
The City of St. Augustine was also very cute. So much history and old architecture, I could have spent days seeing all the sights.
