All the animals at Krochels Wildlife Center are rescues.
They are taken in either as abanboned orphans
or because of injury. In the state of Alaska, it is illegal to release
mammals back into the wild after rehilitation.
All the animals at Kroschels Wildlife Center are
therefore permanent residents.
