After sailing from Cyprus to here in Crete, we were so excited to get off the boat and explore this new Island!
We docked in Aghios Nikolaos (Greek: Άγιος Νικόλαος).
It is a coastal town that lies 41 Kilometers (or 25 miles) east of the island's capital Heraklion. The area is a bit touristy, but so beautiful! With close proximity to mountains, beaches, traditional greek villages, and great rocky snorkeling spots!
